If your package arrives visibly damaged, refuse it and contact us immediately at 860-575-1171 or EMAIL email@example.com. If you sign for a package or cage without reporting visible damage to the driver, we cannot file a claim with the shipping company for the damage and we will not be liable for the replacement or return of the product(s). Inspect ALL shipments promptly. Immediately upon receipt, open and inspect each box for damage or incorrect or missing items. If there is a problem with your order contact us immediately at 860-575-1171 or EMAIL firstname.lastname@example.org If you receive a defective product, we will replace it. If the product is not replaceable, we will issue a full refund including shipping charges.
If you are unhappy with your purchase and wish to return or exchange an item, please contact us at email@example.com for a return authorization. Restocking charges are 10%*. Customer is responsible for return shipping charges. Items must be returned in original packaging (if applicable). We will not accept items that have been used in any way (chewed, pooped on, etc.)
RETURN EXCEPTIONS: To keep from spreading disease to any birds, fabric items such as rope perches and bedding are not returnable. Please note that the actual color of an item may not be exactly as you see it on your computer monitor. Also, our toymakers are artists and there may be some minor variation between the image that appears on our site and the actual toy. All purchases are final 30 days from the date you received the product. So please inspect ALL shipments promptly. Upon receipt of the returned merchandise, we will issue a credit to your credit card or Paypal account within 30 days. If you paid with a check or money order we will issue a check within 30 days as well.
If you wish to cancel your order, you may do so by phone or EMAIL within 24 hours and receive a full refund.
COUPONS AND SPECIALS:
Only one coupon or special offer can be redeemed at a time and cannot be combined.
INCORRECT SHIPPING ADDRESS:
If you enter an incorrect shipping address when placing your order and your package is returned to us, you are liable for that charge. If you want the package to be re-delivered to the corrected address, you will be charged the additional shipping cost. Please check your shipping information before completing your order.
SPAM PROTECTION EMAIL ADDRESSES:
If you do not receive your order confirmations, shipping notifications,coupons, promotional sales, please verify that EMAILS from parrottoysusa are not being placed in your JUNK EMAIL folder.
If you order food or other perishable items during the hot summer months, we are not able to keep them cool for you and cannot accept returns of items compromised by the weather. Please keep this in mind when ordering supplements and food items.
In Stock Items:
Orders with all items in stock will be securely packaged and shipped out within one to three business days. We currently ship via UPS & USPS Monday through Friday
Out of Stock/Backordered Items:
We make every attempt to keep all items on our site available and in stock. There is always a possibility, however, that we may run out of a particular item. In the event that an item in your order is out of stock, we will contact you and offer a substitution or give an approximate shipping date. Orders will be delayed if an out of stock item is soon to return to stock. If the delay will be longer than 5 days, the available items will be shipped without the back ordered items. When the remaining items return to stock, they will be shipped to you promptly. Due to the increasingly high costs of shipping, we reserve the right to cancel and issue a refund for any back ordered items that would cause us to incur additional shipping charges that would be more costly than the item itself. We will contact each customer before shipping an incomplete order to see if another item can be substituted. If the customer does not respond to our emails or phone calls we may ship the order without the back ordered items after 3 days so as not to delay the order any longer and provide a refund of the back ordered item.
Drop Shipped Items:
Many of the items on our website will be shipped from the manufacturer or other distribution centers. This may or may not add additional time to your shipment. Cage Orders: Our cages are shipped directly from the manufacturer. Cages may take up to 5 to 10 business days for delivery. If you have other items on the same order, food, toys, supplies, they will be shipped separately.
For shipping outside of the United States, you will be able to choose the shipping method which will determine the time in transit. Transit time does not include time in customs. Customers will be responsible for all brokerage fees, duties, and taxes. We will contact you if your order requires special handling. We reserve the right to refuse any shipment for any reason.
*NOTE: Items shipped back to us without notification will be subject to a 20% restocking charge.
